In Memory of Robert Rivera, MD

It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert Rivera, MD. Dr. Rivera worked as a Vision Correction and Cataract Surgeon at Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center for over ten years. He spent his last four years as the Director of Clinical Research for Hoopes Vision in Sandy, Utah. His journey came to and end last night, Wednesday, April 1st, 2015.

Dr. Rivera had a passion for changing people’s lives. He traveled the world to conduct research that would ultimately change the landscape of advanced solutions for vision correction and cataract surgery. The Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center family is forever grateful for his passion for ophthalmology and the grace and excellence he delivered to each patient. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, colleagues and patients.
