Shane Theobald, OD
Optometrist
Dr. Shane Theobald was raised in Pleasanton, CA, in the Bay Area and has been practicing in the East Valley for over 18 years at various ophthalmology and optometry practices. He studied Biology and Zoology at Brigham Young University in Provo, UT, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. Theobald graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, receiving the Salutatorian award. He completed externships at the Millington Tennessee Navy Base and in private practice in Bartlett, TN.
Dr. Theobald is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and licensed by the Arizona State Board of Optometry. As a primary care optometrist, he specializes in full-scope eye care, focusing on the treatment and management of ocular diseases, refractive care, and surgical pre- and post-operative care. He is passionate about helping patients understand their unique eye health challenges and guiding them to effective solutions.
In his free time, Dr. Theobald enjoys playing golf and guitar, watching Arizona professional sports, working on auto mechanics, and spending quality time with his family.
